The Healthy Pelvic Floor
This course gives you all the tools, exercises & practices
Description du service
Your pelvic floor is a versatile set of muscles that performs many important functions. Many women can have problems from a pelvic floor that’s too tight or too loose. You’ve probably heard of the pelvic floor & you know it’s somewhere down there. But you might be surprised by how much ur pelvic floor does for u on the daily life. You have to thank it for everything. From ur ability to stand, to your ability to achieve an orgasm, to the fact that you have a good day or not, to ur capacity to handle stress or not, to ur capacity to give birth with no inner damage or not, to have intense pain or not during PMS time, to the love or hate you have towards yourself & men. And.. yes..to ur connection (or disconnection) with yourself / the Universe. The pelvic floor is a group of muscles & connective tissues attached to the bones at the bottom of ur pelvis. It is working 24/7 & for u. Support: Pelvic floor muscles support ur bladder, colon, rectum, vagina, cervix & uterus. Stabilization: Working in unison with ur hip muscles, ur lumbar spine & ur diaphragm, pelvic floor muscles stabilize ur hips & trunk, helping u to stand upright, walk & shimmy. Lymphatic drainage: It drains the fluid that relies on the movement of muscles like those of the pelvic floor, without which u would reach unprecedented levels of bloat. Maintaining continence: It helps ur bladder & rectum open & close on demand when you need to pee or poop (and when you need not to). Sexual sensation: Those same muscles contract & release before & during the Big O. That’s an involuntary contraction. BUT WORKING ON IT can transform ur sexual life: BIG TIME. There are 16 individual muscles that perform these job duties & how well they perform has A LOT to do with what kind of shape they’re in. What happens when ur pelvic floor is too tight or too loose??? How to keep it healthy and balanced? This courses provides you all the tools, exercises & practices you need :)
